How do I know that the carpet I receive meets burn requirements?

All orders are shipped with FAA Form 8110-3 certification or a certificate of conformance corresponding to your carpet order.

How long after will it take to receive my order?

Our policy is to ship your order within 14 days (10 business days) of reciept of your PO. Of course, special arrangements may be made for AOG and/or Rush orders.

How are carpet segments identified?

Ser-Mat Corp. will identify each segment with a part number, date of fabrication and directional arrows. Each part may also be identified with other information such as P.O. # if necessary.

How do I know where the individual carpet segments go on my aircraft?

Each ship set is accompanied by a carpet layout identifying where each carpet segment is placed on the aircraft.

Will Ser-Mat measure my aircraft for a custom ship set?

If requested and required, on site measurements for carpet will be made. Arrangements must be made in advance. An additional trip charge will be added. Please call for details.

Why is it important to serge the edges of the carpet?

Serging the carpet provides a better overall appearance and helps prevent the carpet ends from fraying and pulling, extending the longevity of your carpet.

How is payment handled?

All orders are C.O.D., major credit cards and wire transfers accepted.

Will Ser-Mat install the carpet on my aircraft?

Ser-Mat does not provide installation services.

What is the best way to keep carpet segments in place?

Certified double face tape is recommended and available.

My aircraft was reconfigured and just needs carpet to fill in a few areas. Can Ser-Mat provide carpet segments for me?

Ser-Mat provides this service and can often match the existing carpet.
